Martian Code

This summer, I found an old paperback copy of Danny Dunn and the Weather Machine and this strange code was written on the inside cover: CIA 029-K48. What could it mean? Answering that mystery inspired the latest Good Deed Rain novel: A melting wax museum, a Martian temp agency, Betty Grable, Postum, telepathy, mirage, a giant robot wandering around town, wolves at the zoo, the sound of rain.
