The new Neptune book you'll be reading soon is a novel that features the return of the magician and robot duo, The Great Marconi and Cronco. This will be their 5th adventure. Constant Readers will remember that Marconi lost his leg in a tragic faulty illusion in The Robotic Age. He hobbled on a pegleg for a couple books, until his leg was magically restored. (Don't ask me which book that happened in though! Was it in A Field of Cabbages? I could actually use a robot to keep track of all these plots!) Then, in the Half A Giraffe novel Cronco met the same pegleg fate. Fans will be glad to know he is getting a new metal leg to match the old one—only trouble is, it's another left leg! Not sure how that might affect someone, but I’m assuming he’s good at going in circles now.
