peddler's lament
Had a disappointing trip to the university bookstore. I was hoping to leave these 4 books for the Faculty/Staff shelf. The manager told me they are discontinuing that space. There doesn’t seem to be any home for my books—where are the interesting stores? Do I need to get a donkey cart and peddle them in another enlightened century? I couldn’t help but laugh a little, carrying the books back outdoors, I know these are great and there are so many more to share, and I know people will enjoy them one day.

0-120 excerpt

This story came to me after I was walking downtown and saw a sign for a store that said they serve everyone ages 0-120.
