THE HANDBOOK OF LIFE!
Milt Whitney has a story to tell, but the jungle keeps interrupting. Every time he starts to write, another world takes over, but as he tries to unravel the mystery, he finds he is connected to the fiction he thought he was only dreaming up.

Wallace Ed
I’ve been properly informed by AI—“Wallace Stevens and Mister Ed are completely unrelated historical and cultural figures: Wallace Stevens was a famous American modernist poet and insurance executive, while Mister Ed was a talking palomino horse from a 1960s television sitcom.”

Remember The Tin Can Telephone
I was remembering THE TIN CAN TELEPHONE, from 2020. A childhood memory novel set in 1975 Seattle, illustrated by the author like a coloring book.

The FREELOADER
THE FREELOADER is a novel about a couple who find their home invaded by a mischief-making Martian Anemone. Humor, romance, a cardboard car chase, a rented elephant, insurance claims, interstellar mystery, and a special appearance by Bob Hope—it’s the perfect summer read for an anxious planet Earth. The book is available July 23, in two different editions, hardbound or soft cover. Illustrated throughout by the author, a watercolor cover by Alegra Garcia, designed with help from jetsetter Rob Millis, make The Freeloader your next destination!

2 Art Books!
Read two great art books recently.
Bunker Hill Los Angeles by Leo Politi and Tony Sarg: Genius at Play.
The public library in LA has a beautiful Children's section with paintings by Politi.
Visiting there inspired a story in my latest book, The Bicycle Dog.
Tony Sarg is an amazing puppet maker, balloon maker, illustrator and instigator of a giant sea monster sighting!
