I can't believe the luck!
Knute Skinner and Edna
just showed up at the library
to meet me! He is one of my
favorite poets and was a big help
to me when I wrote my essay on
his friend, poet Robert Huff:

It was wonderful to finally meet Knute.
He and Edna are looking very well.
I told Knute his memoir is one of my
favorite books and he said, "There
should be more like you." Well, if
more people read it they'll see what
a great poet he is. Also, I'm glad
I was able to give him a copy of
SAINT LEMONADE to read on
their long flight back to Ireland.
