Pat Hobby in Hollywood

Earlier this week, I was drawn to
the F.Scott Fitgerald shelves
where I discovered this book:
The Pat Hobby Stories.
There are 17 Pat Hobby tales
featuring a writer in Hollywood.
So far, I've read the first 3 and I'm
amazed how great these are!
I can't believe I never knew
about these, but now I must
share the news with you.

1975 Diary #8

I still have those 3 pig war coins
commemorating a war fought near
Friday Harbor over a pig.
The End of School for 1975
we're getting ready for journey 
to Maine and then Scotland.
I'm not proud of this event 
inspired by the film Reptilicus
and I sincerely hope that the
Caterpillar Protection Society 
will accept my apologies.
