2 Art Books!

Read two great art books recently. Bunker Hill Los Angeles by Leo Politi and Tony Sarg: Genius at Play. The public library in LA has a beautiful Children's section with paintings by Politi. Visiting there inspired a story in my latest book, The Bicycle Dog. Tony Sarg is an amazing puppet maker, balloon maker, illustrator and instigator of a giant sea monster sighting!

PLAYGROUND

The next book I'm publishing is a hardbound edition of PLAYGROUND.

This winter I wrote a novel about a typewriter salesman. Then I recalled, so does P.K Dick’s book In Milton Lumky Territory, which I had to reread. Fortunately, our books are very different. My next completed novel features an underground world. There are a lot of books set there, but I chose Under the Mountain to read. Now I’m between writing novels, but I’m reading The Bicycle Rider in Beverly Hills, which has something to do with a new project of mine.
