nessie
Swans going south. Funny, I was just outside and 13 of them went overhead low but I didn't have my camera! Just like seeing Nessie.

meanwhile
Meanwhile in California, another sunny day begins. I wonder if Vincent Price ever delivered newspapers to that Tudor style house on the right, pausing on his bicycle.

Now that the grueling publicity tour for JONES JR. is over and I’m back from Hollywood and Rockefeller Center, I’m getting the next novel ready for publication, here’s page 30:

poetry and adventure
JONES JR. is a 1970s-style TV detective like Cannon. He lives in the Rockford seaside trailer. The novel follows him as he tries to unravel two mysteries: a mummy, and another world called Avalon. Plenty of poetry and adventure. The novel is being adapted as a teleplay by executives at the ABC network to be shown on Mondays at 9PM, before Hart to Hart.
jim
Yesterday morning and today, swans flew low overhead going north. Beautiful! Both times, my nature cameraman Jim was unable to get a photo. We’ll keep trying.
