Decided to reread some Philip K. Dick books.
He's one of my big inspirations, but it's been a
long time since I read him. (25 years ago I was
searching all the bookstores of Seattle for his
paperbacks.) At random, I picked up
The Man
Who Japed (1956) and lo and behold, I forgot my
name is telegraphed all throughout this book:
Speaking of Mrs. Frost, Allen said...
The next day Allen had still not given Mrs. Frost an answer
"Mrs. Frost," Allen said...
Beyond that mystery, it was great to reread
this amazing prophetic novel. More timely than ever.
