I finished Stephen King's new book, the
culmination of his trio featuring detective
Hodges. It has some similarities to the new
book I've been writing.

I just saw the James Cagney movie
City for Conquest (1940) which begins
on the Williamsburg bridge in NYC.
This is the very bridge starring in
my book AT THE EDGE OF AMERICA

I used to walk over that bridge at night
thinking about Waterstories.

last June

It was last June that Fred Sodt and I
read from our collaboration, ROOSEVELT.

I'm up to chapter 3 in the new novel I'm writing.
Some strange influences this weekend. The starting
sequence of Jerry Lewis' The Delicate Delinquent,
the old Logan's Run movie and the Star Trek
episode, Miri.
