I finished writing the new Martian book. It's a humdinger. Will be published in early 2024, stay tuned. Now I'm watching Presenting Lily Mars movie.

Martian thread

I'm just a chapter or two away from being done writing my Martian novel. And I have a very weird sensation on one finger, as if there's a thin thread wrapped around it, but obviously there isn't (unless its invisible) It's a wee bit annoying. I'm guessing it's Martian related. Maybe it's the thread connecting me to Martian goings on, like a telephone wire about to be snapped. Who knows?

This morning, with barely enough light to see, I got me olde faithful handsaw and cut a pesky branch on the cottonwood that keeps grabbing me when I'm out back with the hound. As I sawed through it, a huge spark flew off the saw lighting up like a meteor! Mysterioso! And it got me reading about Japanese tree spirits, the Kodoma. I sure don’t want to upset them!
