I finished writing draft for novel about
the magician and his robot companion.
I'm very pleased with that and will be
typing that up soon and passing it along
to friend Aaron to do drawings for it.
Look forward to publishing that. Now
I'm starting to think about the next book
to write. Something is stirring and look
who appeared just now in the backyard:
I feel a strong connection to these deer
who can appear in our city midst still.
Yes, inspiration.

The Orphanage of Abandoned Teenagers looks great!
I got the proof copy of my latest book
The Orphanage of Abandoned Teenagers.
It looks beautiful! Hope you will get a
chance to read it and pass it on to others.
You can order it from Amazon.com.
robots...
I watched a crazed Columbia serial called
The Monster and the Ape (1945). I'm so
inspired by those clunky old robots that I've
been writing a new novel featuring one.
I don't want to give away too much yet, but
it also features a one-legged magician and
a vampire who teaches ragtime piano lessons.
The robot in this movie does a lot of sitting,
walking back and forth, or pushing a wheelbarrow.
There's also a bad-minded gang who keep stealing
the gorilla from the zoo to do their evil work.
I didn't know you could borrow zoo animals.
Must have been okay in the 1940s.
